The Safeguarding Interface Alignment Accreditation (SIAA) is designed for organisations whose operational decisions influence safeguarding environments within education and early years settings.
Applying does not grant accreditation.
It begins a structured, supported pathway designed to help organisations understand, embed and independently demonstrate safeguarding interface alignment.
Before You Apply
Before submitting your application, your organisation should:
✓ Operate within education or early years environments
✓ Understand its safeguarding interface exposure
✓ Be committed to strengthening governance and operational decision-making
✓ Be willing to engage with the full accreditation pathway
If you haven't yet completed the Safeguarding Interface Exposure Assessment, we recommend doing so before applying.
What Happens After You Apply?
Once we receive your application, we will:
1. Review your organisation and operational scope.
2. Arrange an introductory discussion to better understand your safeguarding interface exposure.
3. Confirm whether SIAA is appropriate for your organisation.
4. Explain the accreditation pathway, likely timescales and investment.
5. If appropriate, invite your organisation to begin the accreditation pathway.
There is no obligation to proceed following the introductory discussion.

Every participating organisation receives:
✓ Structured guidance throughout the accreditation pathway
✓ Access to safeguarding interface expertise
✓ Ongoing support as safeguarding interface alignment is embedded
✓ Live updates, emerging insights and practical implementation resources
✓ Independent assessment against the SIAA Programme Specification
✓ Controlled use of the SIAA Accreditation Mark upon successful accreditation
✓ Inclusion within the Safeguarding Interface Accredited Organisations Directory
✓ Recognition as an organisation demonstrating safeguarding interface alignment within live education environments
